Ohhh! I understand your “mind state” … it’s very depressing and frustrating to see all this “dangerous stupidity” going on over the world … but as you say, that’s not for this site!!
Enjoy your zynthian …

Bless you!
Cheers!
You are both so right, I hope (and believe) this craziness will go less in the next few months.
But I also won’t discuss this here.
Finally John Miles nailed it back in 1976: “('Cause) in this world of trouble my music pulls me through.”
So let us make and listen to good music.
That’s a great one to sum up what we need to do!
I had to think about that one for a minute!
In the one quoted by Whiteman, quite epic.
Remember as a (very young)ish guy in '76 almost blowing up my twin 12" speakers driven by a roasting hot Armstrong Amp (could probably cook lunch on it - just the thing for the Summer of '76 - not!) with that one!
Oh no kind of given my age away now!
Two quite different pieces.
Thanks guys!
BTW - we need a Zynthian emoji don’t we?
Definitely yes!
+1 to the Zynthian emoji! :zynthian:
@jofemodo is the guy to do this, I think…
…yep, it’s an admin thing.
I’m still waiting for a badge we can award to people who present sound samples…
You wouldn’t believe how many ravens we waste just processing the present load . . .
That’s a bigun you’ve got there - so to speak…
I won’t get involved in the “badge to award” thing - not sure I quite understand… Ravens?
My Zynth as a 72x72 icon - bit “squashed” perhaps…
Don’t ask! That way only lies dashed dreams and despair.
And why shouldn’t it be? Appeasing @wyleu is, after all, a BIG deal around here…
Actually, the icon is big because I want the emoji to be as crisp and clean as possible. I think it gets scaled down during the “emojifying” process.
@riban
I knew I shouldn’t have asked!
@Jtunes
Ah gotcha - I think…
I believe the images are scaled with CSS aren’t they?
Looking at source code for this rendered page, it seems to load images - but when you select a “standard” emoji from the set in edit, you set a text tag that causes the HTML process to load that image? Don’t really know a lot about web code stuff really.
Is that one a “standard” Twitter one from the emoji set, chosen/set by admin?
In the link referenced earlier by you I think I read that custom emojis could be uploaded as image files and would appear in the emoji collection?
Perhaps I misunderstood that.
I must admit that I’m not familiar with the setup with this particular “board” format/admin and what needs to be done to add emojis.
It’s late, and I sense that I might have opened a “can of worms” - sorry…
Ducks and leaves…
Night!
It 's available on the emoji’s palette as :zynthianic:
.
I hope some of you improve it and make it down-scale in a proper way.
And of course, i’m open to more “zynmojis” :zynthianic:
This is outperforms my wildest guesses on how that idea would evolve
Love it!
:zynthianic:
Testing testing 123… Mary had a little lamb she ate it for her lunch…
Yep that works!
I won’t broach the subject of r@v*ns again…
But what does mean? We need context here! The kids talk in emojis and I invariably end up embarrassed by some misuse!!!
Emoji use is…is…
worrying!
I have to admit I am an old(ish) git and go back to “bulletin” boards and the heady thrill of using “:-)” Seems a loooooong time ago now…" :-("
