Audio/MIDI error screen

Hi, thank you for help.

It all stareted working.
There is an option File manager. Do you please know the credentials here as well, please?

Also I’m trying to figure out how in zynthian conect my ext hdd.

  • Are there some tutorials I can follow, pls.?

  • I have whent thru the official video channel at youtube, but I guess manual is better. I haven’t found it on the general wiki, or I just missied that out.

Thank you for help.

Filebrowser credentials: zynthian and opensynth
If is doesn’t work look in /zynthian/zynthian-sw/filebrowser/filebrowser.json

As long as it is an SSD with USB connection: just plug it in. USB-3 is advised, it’s much faster on a RPi5. For a genuine HDD I don’t think the USB port supplies enough power. You could try a powered hub. As you may have expected, there is no SATA port on the kit

For NVMe, you can search the forum; there is a long and extensive explanation in one of the posts. However, I do not think it is supported.

Edit: credentials corrected, I looked at the wrong line :frowning:

Sorry, the file browser is the exception to the rule. For this, the credentials are:

  • zynthian
  • opensynth

I couldn’t figure a nice way of configuring “root” as a user for the filebrowser, sorry.
For the rest of zynthian services, “root” is the right user.

Regards,
