Is this restitution for the [KeyStep clone](https://discourse.zynthian.org/t/behringers-keystep-clone/5010)? 😁

That looks fantastic! And it has Zaquencer!

oh wow, nice !
Here in France, on a well know website called “[audiofanzine](https://fr.audiofanzine.com/autre-surface-de-controle/behringer/b-control-rotary-bcr2000/petites-annonces/i.2146888.html)”, we can find second hand BCR2000 for 120€ (a couple of years ago it was more around 80€, maybe these pieces of plastic are like some Chateau Margaux red wine, they are getting more and more expensive when they are old) , while that new version is announced for 149€ …
Let’s see the users feedback when it will be produced

As a happy Zaquencer owner, i’m really happy with these news. Anyway, i would love to see 32 x mini-LCDs , one each rotary, that you can manage using SysEx 🤩

Hi, you can pre-order the BCR32 now, so probably in 1-2 month it is out. Do you think this is an universal controller to fit the Zynthians plugins best? Any good or bad experience using the BCR2000 with the Zynthian?

Almost certainly! Without one in my hands and in the absence of detailed specification, I can’t be absolutely sure but it looks like it could provide control and display of plugin parameters. It may benefit from a zynthian device driver that someone who has the device would need to develop to get best use but even without, you would be able to manually assign knobs to parameters.

I don’t remember if we have an automated feedback option to update the LED rings or whether that would need to be implemented in a device driver. It feels like zynthian could benefit from a generic device driver that provided this.

LED rings certainly tick my box. Might make for a nice sooperlooper controller too.

But: eight push encoders and 32 rotary controllers.

Seems like there’s 24 without switch and eight with it.

Edit: the top eight are push encoders.

Are they dented?

the original BCR2000 has dented rotaries - i will let you now when the new BCR32 arrives - just ordered it 😉

Just checked at Thomann’s, and they currently declare 12-15 weeks (4-5 months) for actual stock availability. Maybe, a bit too far even for preorders…

_Reaches for local factotem and instructs to ‘explain’ Daddie’s Christmas present to them…_

And there might well be a pantomime as well, so be warned!

Characters will be dished out to anyone foolish enough to step up for a specific role . . .

I’m about to get my fifth midi controller where the builder forgot to put a pitch and mod wheel on.

What’s wrong with these people?

Exactly.

Because it was so inexpensive I got an APC KEY 25 for Zynthian use, and here it really shines.

Apart from that it’s complete garbage. Again no pitch and mod wheel, no way to edit the CC of the controls and without ableton 57 useless push buttons.

well, with our ctrldev driver I would not say it is useless.

EDIT misread your post. Yes, outside of Zynthian I would not really know what to do with it.

Apparently some BCR32 has been delivered according to the internet. UX is ticking in on various sites. Mine was not in the first batch. Seems the Zaquencer part is more straightforward to use than the encoder part, and there is no manual or any other info online at Behringer. Everything in it’s right place
