If you haven’t heard of Touchkeys, definitely check them out.

They output midi data which can be connected to a computer or a synth for example. Now when outputting to a computer, you need to use their software, which probably won’t work along with Zynthian. However, if the Touchkeys are used to output midi data, will this work with the Zynthian or will additional programming be required? I don’t own either but I’m planning on building a Zynthian and buying Touchkeys to make an awesome portable keyboard.

@np1009887 – this is really cool! It’s always hard to tell from a promo site like that if they run on Linux and, like you said, if they output MIDI data from the hw. Would be a very slick project though.
I don’t see any problem with this. I understand that touchkeys generates standard MIDI CC messages, so Zynthian will recognize and use it without problem. You can configure, depending the engine, how this CC are mapped to the different parameters.
I would love to see this integration …
