Don't Update! => Update again!

As long as @jofemodo hasn’t fixed the update process, it’s not recommended to update the system

@jofemodo If we included @mheidt’s script in the update recipe, would that help?

Just got my V3 kit - The initial test with 2019-09-24 worked well. Upon updating though I get errors, white screen etc.

With the latest Image 2020-04-17 it starts up into the Error screen. As far as I see, the main things were:
-> Python error lilv Module not found
-> Trying to install lilv via /zynthian/zynthian-sys/scripts/recipes/install_lv2_lilv.sh results in errors such as (multiple times)
fatal: remote error: upload-pack: not our ref 878bdba53979f11fa582088e47997df129e56d16
fatal: the remote end hung up unexpectedly
Fetched in submodule path ‘waflib’, but it did not contain
878bdba53979f11fa582088e47997df129e56d16. Direct fetching of that commit failed.
error: Failed to import waf (No module named waflib)
Are submodules up to date? Try ‘git submodule update --init --recursive’
error: Failed to import waf (No module named waflib)

error: Failed to import waf (No module named waflib)

-> then The project was not configured: run "waf configure" first!

Resulting in the update or install not completing and “erroring”.
I hope this is the right thread for this, since it concerns the update process.

Hi @MatFluor!

Sorry, the image from 2020-04-27 is wrong. The process that classifies and moves the images to the right folder had a bug (now solved!). Please, download this.
