It’s almost the size of a small tablet. Is the 1024 x 600 pixel resolution a problem for the Zynthian?

Shouldn’t be. zynthian seems to run pretty well on any screen size from 40 * 60 up to great big desktops… Playing with resolution in the display section and font size in Gui options seems to sort out most issues once you have a working screen.

Well here is my screen, font size 26

Still need to put on the back, a RJ45 plug & an USB plug. Works fine with Wi-Fi. Just using it as a multi effect but with the USB I’ll be able to use MIDI over USB if I want to.

Yes I think so. Here is a picture of DeepMind 6 inside. The power supply unit and part of the circuit boards are removed.
