@jofemodo : there is also the installation scripts for the new release at Perfomix/scripts at main · gitnob/Perfomix · GitHub (install_Perfomix.sh and install_Perfomix_prebuilt.sh). Changed from tar.xz to zip and adjusted the installation of the plugin’s preset directory to default /zynthian/zynthian-plugins/lv2-presets/ .

The update is already available in vangelis.

I re-updated the update script for Perfomix on my github page to always download the latest version of the prebuilt release.

Would you please be so kind and merge it into Vangelis, also triggering an update of the newest Perfomix version (1.6) with a small update (internal looper is set off after the buildup in “up+off” mode).

I just had to bugfix Perfomix again. But a simple ./install_Perfomix_prebuilt.sh should do it.

Can you trigger this again, @jofemodo, to have the most recent version in the Vangelis world.

Hi @gitnob I tried performix since the update and I’m not sure if the new ‘up + off’ functionality is working or if it’s just not working the way I expected. If I assign a button on the midi controller like your video, when I press shouldn’t it go through one build up cycle then drop off automatically?

Ah, yes it should. And it worked on my test systems with the NEWEST version. What exactly is it not working correctly? If it is the looper not stopping after the build-up, then you have to install the latest version v1.7 (unfortunately I found a bug in v1.6, which didn’t switch off the looper).

Give me some hints.

I ran an update which showed perfomix on the screen so I guess I’m on the latest one. Currently I can run UP + OFF and it works ok. I went a bit crazy with FX so it was hard to tell what was happening with all the delay and reverb. I turned everything back to zero and focused on the pink noise. Now I can clearly hear each mode working and adjust the length of the build up and hear it shifting in time.

One thing though, after your first update I tried to follow the instructions on github as I wanted to try it right away. I think when I did that I broke the presets somehow. Now they don’t affect the parameters so I have to manually dial things in (and reset).

regenerate lv2 plugins and presets helps perhaps.

And also sometimes a reboot helps.

I’m off the keyboard know, but I’ll have a look into it later.
