# Requests about snapshot and chain

For a better usability it would be nice (in my opinion):  
in **snapshot menu** to add a **duplicate** voice  
in **chain option** to have the possibility to move the position of a chain in mixer view  
in **mixer view** to have the possibility to choose a color for each chain

Hi @piattica!

I thick that was three carrot requests?

- Duplicate voice - I think you suggest the ability to duplicate a chain? This is planned.
- Move chain position in mixer view - this is already implemented in chain manager branch so will be implemented in next stable release.
- Colour is an emotive subject 😄

is there chain cloning yet? did not find it while looking for it, bit maybe i am blind?

OMG!! Cloning doesn’t exist from 2 or 3 years ago. It’s a pre-oram feature that has been replaced by much better ways. Please, read the user guide!

I think this relates to copying a chain rather than the old duplicate/clone. You can save snapshots and import partial snapshots to merge just one or more chains. This is the closest we have at the moment.
