I am using Intellij Professional and I am glad that my employer pays the licence.
But for the few times I develope python, I stick with the free community edition of pycharm.
Building scripts for the deployment is cheaper.
Regarding remote debugging I am not sure yet what the community edition offers.
I use IntelliJ at work as well with the python plugin, because Iām only offered the cut down pycharm in our rather prescribed environment.
