Splitting keyboard

Hi,

Do you how to do an easy split ?
I try to use “Midi keysplit FX” but I don’t understand why no sound.
Maybe a tutorial for the dummy ?
Thanks
Brgs

Try “key range & transpose” in chain options. Combined with “clone midi to…” this will allow you to create key-zones for each chain and play the chains simultaneously.

Regards

Thanks for your reply but it is too complex to use it in live.
Is there a bug in “midi keyssplit FX” ?
Is it possible to have it working?

Thanks
Brgs

Update Splitting keyboard

To use two different sounds on the same keyboard you can do it this way.

Add two instrument chains and select “all midi channels” with both instruments. Then you can use the OPT button to select the key range for each.

If you use the whole key range for both synth engines you can also stack them as long as the CPU is sufficient. This way you can create very unique sounds. Very powerful. Almost a Leviasynth?

Thank you for your video. I didn’t find it before. When I was looking for splitting keyboard I only found this post which didn’t really help me. So I thought updating it would help others.

Now having watched your Video that’s of course a much better explanation. Thank you for the hint with the multitimbral mode. Very helpful indeed.
