# Trigger .wav sample with drum pad

I just want to trigger a single vibraslap sample using a drum pad on my midi controller. What’s the best way to do this? Should I make a soundfont?

Making a soundfont is currently the simpler way 😉

On my midi controller the pads can be programmed to send on different MIDI channels, if yours can do that then that would be easier.
