Alternate to Ozzmaker 3.5 inch display

I am ready to get a 3.5 inch display here in the US but don’t see that the Ozzmaker display are easily available.

I look at Amazon and I see these alternatives:

  1. Quimat
  2. Smraza
  3. UCtronics
  4. OSOYOO
  5. LANDZO
  6. Kuman

Can anybody recommend one of these or maybe another alternative?

I think somebody tried Landzo already

NO OSOYOO, they just resale kedei.net LCDs. NO DRIVERS!! There are only compiled kernels to download.

I have this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3-5-3-5-Inch-TFT-LCD-Touch-Screen-320x480-SPI-RGB-Display-Board-For-Raspberry/32834124804.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dP9kN76

100% compatible with PiScreen2 in Zynthian config menu (I am not able to test touch screen, I breaked it  )

And this is kedei.net nonsense LCD rebranded by Osoyoo: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-Original-3-5-Inch-LCD-TFT-Touch-Screen-Display-for-Raspberry-Pi-2-Raspberry-Pi/32851565266.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dJHBVgs

And i will test this  https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Raspberry-Pi-3-5-inch-TFT-Resistive-Touch-Screen-LCD-display-for-Raspberry-Pi-3-Model/32755402788.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.48.1dbc3132q5OteU&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_4_10065_10068_319_317_10696_10084_453_454_10083_10618_10304_10307_10820_10821_538_537_10302_536_10059_10884_10887_100031_321_322_10103,searchweb201603_51,ppcSwitch_0&algo_expid=31e8abab-24a3-46a0-9f72-2f441bfc5669-7&algo_pvid=31e8abab-24a3-46a0-9f72-2f441bfc5669&transAbTest=ae803_3

Im sure its been discussed (Im new), but has their been discussion of using a larger screen?

5 or maybe 7" I think would be perfect

touch screen?

I use the standard raspberry pi 7" touchscreen. It’s upside down by default.

Ironically you use the custom setup to access it …

Have you tried the Kedei v6.3? Iv got it at home but have no success. I will try piscreen config.
did you install drivers provided by the seller?

Kedei is piece of shit. No drivers, no documentation, only precompiled kernel. You can test your biggest hammer you have.

not sure, but on kedeis website you can download drivers only, aswell as ready system image or just the kernel. I tried to download the drivers and just run .LCD35_v2 but no luck. Zynthian booted tho (could access webui)

EDIT: Saw now that the install script installs kernelimage. NVM

zynthian development team recently seen testing new screen designs . . .
