Amiga sample open source as LV2

I started with a tracker on the amiga. Now there is an amiga sampler open source. And also as LV2. It’s called Ami sampler. I cannot convert this to the Raspberry Pi myself, but someone might find this an interesting project. Hi @ToneFreak. Welcome to the family.

I had a quick look but the build instructions are wrong and I don’t want to spend time figuring it out. There are already some samplers in zynthian. We have our nativie sampler: zynsampler and also there is v1sampl which looks similar to ami-sampler. We also have sample players like fluidsynth, linuxsampler and Sfizz. I don’t think there is much benefit in adding yet another!

I looked at it. But of course it’s not just about the sampler. It’s also about the lofi of the amiga. Of course you can use a LV2 fx plugin for that. It works more natural with this plugin!

Something you could try would be the MDA Degrade plugin as an audio effect, after the sample player. Maybe you can get closer to the special Amiga sound.
