Any good electric guitar emulator / modeling plugins?

Hi all, new here. Don’t have my Zynth yet, but excited to put it together and see what’s possible.

I’m wondering if there are any electric guitar emulator/modeling plugins that work on this platform. Prefer free (obvs) but also willing to pay if it’s really a good fit and we know it will work. I saw a 12 string acoustic (which looks awesome) but nothing electric.

Any suggestions would be helpful, even if it’s just pointing me in a direction.

Little background: I’ve got a jam band project using my MPC and a few other hardware synths. The goal is to pass as a real band, at least to the untrained ear. Organ, e-piano, bass, drums, I have multiple options for. Guitar I struggle with getting realistic enough tracks for my tastes. I also have some deep seeded aversion to using a DAW, so I’m limited to HW synths.

Not used any myself, but the MOD-UI world should have some fairly refined views on this.

The MOD-UI interface is a part of zynthians distant past, but the plugins, being lv2 should be applicable.

I don’t think @Laughifyouarewise wants guitar effects. I think they want guitar emulator, i.w. a MIDI instrument that sounds like guitar. Even if they did, I wouldn’t mention mod-ui. Instead just build a chain of audio effects. Zynthian’s native effects chains are now superior to mod-ui implementation on zynthian in most ways and completely usable, works the painful overhead of mod-ui separate (and slow) web config.

I would recommend trying out the guitar banks in sfizz. I haven’t tried them myself but it is the most likely place to find guitar emulation. (There is the guitar pack in Pianoteq but I think that is mostly (excellent) acoustic guitars.)

And If you want electric guitar sound, you should have a taste of the neural emulators. They sound really amazing with a raw stratocaster soundfont from the library. A very quick and dirty demo:

If you are interested in this, you will find a lot of info about Neural Emulators if you do some searchs in the forum. Also this post from the blog:
