I built the Zynthian Using ORAM, a pi 4 and the four encoders, I now upgraded to Vangelis and a 14Inch touch screen and pi 5, but I have not yet connected the encoders. I seem to be able to do everything now using just the touchscreen. Are the encoders necessary still?
Encoders are very convenient. Most workflows are optimized for encoders, although we have enabled alternative workflows, they are suboptimal.
