Frescobaldi & Lilypond used it to write out coloured bell chime patterns. Which it managed..
Not sure I’d want to go too much further with it . . .
I reckon there is a place for a bit of lyric annotation software with toot switch control for the zynth ( especially the second hdmi output), on the way to full annotation.
It would allow us to develop some basic control premises for how we would interact with media material played alongside zynthian workflows.
Things have moved on a fair bit and the current Pi desktop versions of Rosegarden, Lilypond & Frescobaldi are all fairly out of date.
