Audio and Midi recordings are named as snapshot

When I record audio or midi the recordings (both on SD and USB) get a name that starts with a timestamp followed by ‘last_state’.

This name is confusing when you look for your recordings.

They are obviously not snapshots, so a more appropriate name would be something like ‘timestamp_midi_capture.mid’ and ‘timestamp_audio_capture.wav’. Then they will be much easier to find.

“last_state” is the name of the currently loaded snapshot so these must be recordings made after booting without manually loading a snapshot.

Correct.

I don’t make different snapshots that often, so the name of the snapshot in the recording is of little use for me…

But now I understand why it is named as it is.
