When using my UCA222 interface, the output gain is very low. I don’t set the volume to maximum because it causes clipping in the sound, so I always keep it at the interface’s line level. The sound engineer complained that he has to apply too much gain. Is there a way to improve this? I just selected the UCA222 as the interface and didn’t change any settings.
Have you adjusted the input gain?
This is for my behringer 1820 but you can configure the options in the webconf audio set up.
You will need to select advance and then in mixer controls you can select the parameters that are available in the audio levels page…
Here I’ve added the first 4 mic channels…
Don’t forget to save and reboot…
Then you will find these controls under the audio levels page you visited before…
Hopefully that will help.
If not, and you’ve already done all this, drop a line and we will pursue further…
you are the best
This with a gain 2x2 plugin in main chanel resolve my problem
One last question: on my Zynthian, the interface looks different. I’m on the latest stable version. All the buttons are aligned to the right. In the image you sent, the volume buttons are divided between the left and right. Is this a bug, or has the latest version actually changed?
V5 vs V4
The Oram user guide has three selection links at the top right:
that allows you to select what version of Zynthian you want to use and adjusts the documentation appropriately, drawing the screen and hardware layout accordingly.
I’ve not shifted to V5 as yet, treat my advice as tidying up behind…
