So I’m working on making my own kind of hardware situation with zynthian and the 7inch pi screen. I think that’s all squared away, but since the case makes it really hard to swap the SD card, I was wondering if anyone had tried Berryboot with zynthian? I’ll report back on my success later this week trying it out, but wanted to see if someone had already done it. I’d like to try and make an image which can boot either retropie or zynthian on start up 
I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work. Zynthian isn’t far from stock Raspberry Pi OS.
I am booting a Zynthian using berryboot, but since it’s on a pi2 I went the long winded way of booting from a standard raspbian and buidling an image there.
A standard universal image generator for berryboot should be more than enough to convert the stock zynthian image:
