I updated using the update button in the UI, and there didn’t seem to be any errors. However, after that, my snapshots won’t load, they say they are invalid, and the snapshot interface of the web application doesn’t open.

Could you please do a bug report from the button at bottom of webconf dashboard (aka “the web application”). It will grab more info which would be useful. Also, any chance you could post your snapshot by accessing it from the Command Line Interface (terminal)?
any snapshot give-me a problem… i remove all snapshot accessing it from temrinal, and the web ui open the snapshot list… works fine… a create a new basic from zynthian with just one sfz and crash… i will create a bug reporter… thanks

I made a flesh install of all system and the problem is there… I download the last stable zynthian image… how can I install previous version? I need use my zynthian in 2 days 
I’m not sure this what you’re asking, but going to https://os.zynthian.org/ offers you choices of previous versions, namely 2503 and 2502.

- exact steps to reproduce the error

This is reported as issue 1395. I have already requested a snapshot but @rodneicouto is yet to provide one. We need your help to be able to help you!
FYI I reverted to vangelis and loaded one of the factory snapshots (Three on Three) and it worked fine. We need an actual snapshot that is impacted by this issue to be able to trace it.

My English is not native, so I’m not sure if I’m having difficulty making myself understood… I didn’t send the snapshot because it breaks with any of them, there’s no specific one… for example, I deleted everything in the zynthian-my-data/snapshot folder and the error didn’t happen in the web interface… I saved an empty snapshot, created at that moment, and the error came back…
Additionally, I later formatted my SD card and installed a clean version of the system (https://os.zynthian.org/zynthianos-last-stable.img.xz)… the error happens the same way… it doesn’t need to be through an update…
What log can I get via terminal to send to you?
I cannot reproduce this.
- Update to latest Oram (2503.2).
- Clear all.
- Add instrument chain (Dexed).
- Save snapshot.
- Load snapshot.
No error. Without a snapshot that is going wrong, we cannot fix this. As far as I know, there is no one else suffering this issue. Please supply a snapshot so that we can help you. If you had done so when you first encountered the issue or when I first asked or when @jofemodo asked then we may have progressed with diagnosing the issue but if you refuse to provide any data to support the investigation, we cannot help you. As I suspected, I have spent some time trying to reproduce this and failed. This is time I cannot afford. If you want help, you must help us to help you.

That is fixed but the issue reported here and in the issue tracker seems to relate to attempts to load snapshots in the zynthian UI, not webconf… although I see from the top screenshot that it does mention webconf, so maybe we are talking at cross purposes. @rodneicouto said he was concerned that he wouldn’t be able to use zynthian in 2 days and webconf not working is not a blocker for using zynthian.
Yeah, that original post, Broken snapshot after update , is why I thought they sounded similar, but I see what you’re saying.
