Can I use the InnoMaker Rasp Pi HiFi DAC Hat PCM5122?

Hi

I am just getting started on a box and would like to use the InnoMaker Rasp Pi HiFi DAC Hat PCM5122 I have, But I can’t see the device in the hardware->Audio-Soundcard section. Is there a way to get this going?

Thanks

Simply select some other device that uses same/similar chip. HifiBerry DAC+ could be a good starting point

Hi

From here

Dac must been set as AlloBoss but there’s no entry in zynthian webconf

So documentation in:

they say: dtoverlay=allo-bossdac-pcm512x-audio

and the alsa hardware name should be BossDAC (to be used in Jackd hw:BossDAC parameter)

While using the same hardware as ZynADAC or HifiBerry ADAC, the InnoMaker has differents clocks for their XTALs.

Hi, Bendy!

I use exactly the same sound card and it works. If you need nuances for setting up a sound card, Let me know in this thread. I can only answer on Sunday evening, because now I’m away and I don’t have any equipment with me.

Yes, it works, but it took some time to get it working. The following might help: InnoMaker Raspberry Pi HiFi DAC HAT PCM5122
