Cannot disconnect Output 1+2 from main mixer chain

I tried to disconnect Output 1+2 channels from a multi channel hardware, with no success.
It seems as if Output 1+2 is always connected automatically every time a change in Output ports is requested.
I wrote a bug report just now.

I watched this behaviour in vangelis, but with oram stable it’s almost worse, because higher Output channels are not connected correctly to other hardware channels. This is why I changed to vangelis although this is “not stable” and I need this on a productive system.
Anybody else or is it only me?

Fixed in vangelis. You will need to Remove All to reset the output rouing.

What about existing snapshots? Will it be fixed automatically when loading?

It does now! I applied another patch to vangelis that will convert the output routing but it will only convert to main outputs 1 & 2 so if you have a snapshot that routes audio to any other outputs, you may need to fix this manually, i.e. the routing will change to 1&2 but can subsequently be updated and snapshot resaved.

More than enough! Thanks @riban !

Hi @riban,
I just updated and it was working like expected. Routing of Output 1+2 could be connected and disconnected as expected. Thx.
Other routings from main mixer to other output was restored normally, hence no “Remove All” was necessary. Or did you mean, remove all jack connections first… anyway works well now.

Any chance to get it also working for the stable branch, or is there a near future, when vangelis is merged to stable (jumping over testing  )?
