So Bruce Cockburn has always been one of my big favorites, and also source of the irrational pride one feels in the music their own country puts out. I was especially captivated by the sound of his late 70s-early 80s period where the had Fergus Jemison-Marsh playing Stick in the band. It’s all over what is arguably his biggest album of that period, though I thought it was just very interesting guitar playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nm2NeUykvEg
I had seen that instrument being used by other Canadian artists, most notably Gowan toured with the same guy I believe, in his early Canadian success years. He still lives in Toronto and is available for hire, though I can’t find that link anymore.
Anyways, I would like to get some sort of approximation of that sound on keys, if I could. I have a bunch of search tabs open with possible leads (looks like Korg released a sample library at some point, but it’s been around for a long time…), but curious if anyone on here has looked into this.
