Checked Instruments do not show up [SOLVED!]

I am unable to see the “setBfree - Hammond Emulator” MIDI instrument as an available instrument under the Organ category. It used to be available, and I saved it as one of my chains in my snapshot I use for gigs, but if I want to add it to another snapshot it is not available.

I have tried unchecking and checking the “setBfree - Hammond Emulator” MIDI instrument in the Software…Engines…MIDI Instruments panel. The UI shows that it is Toggled, but I don’t see an option to “commit” the toggled MIDI instruments to my Zynthian.

I am using the Oram build on the stable release. Any ideas as to why the instrument isn’t available, and what I can do to get it back?

Thanks!
TK

You can only have one instance. Do you already have an instance of setBfree loaded?

Ah yes, that would explain it. Because it is already added as a chain, I cannot add it again? I am able to re-add other instruments when I want to setup split-key modes (e.g., piano on LH, organ on RH).

There are a few engines that may only be added once. There’s include setBfree, Pianoteq & Aeolus. There are technical reasons for this constraint that we wish to lift in the future.

Thanks for the clarification, really appreciate the quick response! Sounds like my system is functioning as expected, so I’ll work around for the split keyboard needs.
