As a student piano player, I use the metronome quite a lot. I have a mechanical one with a slide for tempi and names like moderato and presto, etc. There is also a slide for the time signature like four-four time or six-eigth time. And there is of coarse the accent.
The downside of the mechanical metronome is that it is very present and there is no auto start.
Hence my question: is it possible to make all these settings available under the metronome button?
Is it possible? Yes, anything is possible. Submit a feature request in GitHub and we can discuss implementation. I can see how some of this could be done but am not clear on everything so a clear description or exactly what you want will be beneficial. I am not yet convinced of the requirement but understand the concept and you show there is a use case so let’s discuss.
