Hello development team and everyone. I primarily use fluidsynth with Zynthian and have two questions.
Is there a way to change the default soundfont of fluidsynth when no soundfont has been selected? I would like to use a better piano sound (around 96MB).
I would like to use a custom font. In the source code, I see quite a few fonts in the /zynthian/zynthian-ui/fonts directory. However, only a few fonts are available in the web configuration. How can I add other fonts?
For number 2. Would the upload soundfont functionality of webconf work? I think i have added bigger piano font and it went to user bank. With soundfont editor you can edit the structure how they’re organised so e.g. ones you use most can be changed to appear first. https://wiki.zynthian.org/index.php/Sound_Fonts
Possibly modifying the soundfont stored as main in zynthian could change the default sound as well solving number 1. I have used polyphone as an editor which was suggested in wiki and it works ok for what i wanted to do.
