Enabled engines not available [SOLVED]

Using Zynthian

On the zynthian configuration the default has many engines and midi tools enabled but they are not available to select on the Zynthian device interface on Add Instrument chain or add Midi-FX. I wanted to ad the AOELUS but it’s not on the list of Synths, also when I tried to add Midi-FX )following the tutorial) the only one available is Appregiator, even though many more are enabled on the configuration

Aeolus should be in the Organ section, depending on your current OS version you need to switch categories (most likely encoder 3)

Hi @Ernisius , are you using Oram? Wondering since this is an area where the usability has improved in Vangelis.

Yes, I am using ORAM. That is the latest stable image, so is Vangelis like a beta image?. but my issue was when adding a chain I totally missed that categories were selectable. Now I have lots more to play with. but I will try out vangelis.

While ORAM is current stable version, the Vangelis successor is getting all the attention lately.
