ERROR splash screen after update [SOLVED]

Hi everybody,

I am a new zynthian user, as I recently build mine

I upgraded the zynthian, with the script.
After rebooting, I got the error splash screen.
Please find the logs at the end (stdout/stderr output for the command ‘service synthian start’, + bash in echo mode).

I also have a weid USB/midi input handling but I am going to make another thread for that if I can’t find the issue (Endless midi notes + double octave catching).

Strange! It seems that zyncoder library is not compiled for MCP23017.
Can you give more details about how did you update your Zynthian Box? How did you connect your Zynthian Box to Internet?

Also, please, try to reconfigure your device using the webconf tool, specially the wiring layout.

Hi José,

Thank you for your feedback.
I am using the image: zynthian_gorgona_edge_rbpi3_piscreen2-2017-10-23.img
I updated the soft using the script /zynthian/zynthian-sys/scripts/update_zynthian.sh. I also tested the shortcut from the UI (with a new fresh image), same result.
The zynthian is connected through ethernet to another pc that shares the Internet connexion.
Is there a way to test Zyncoder independently ?

If your zynthian worked before the update, i would recommend to re-burn the SD and start again, but please, keep the logs and send it if it doesn’t work again.

for me following Solution works…

Open config Tool and set to Emulator or something Else. Reboot. Open config Tool again and set to your controller and wiring devices… Reboot again … and Working!
