External MIDI transport (Start/Stop) not triggering ZynSeq or Chaos Engine in Oram

Hi, I’m using Zynthian Oram with a Blokas Pisound. My setup: Novation Circuit Tracks as MIDI clock master connected via MIDI DIN to Pisound.

Clock sync works perfectly — BPM follows the Circuit Tracks. But pressing Play on Circuit Tracks does not start the Zynthian sequencer or the Chaos Engine plugin.

I have:

  • Clock source set to MIDI in Zynthian
  • Transport enabled in MIDI input device settings
  • Tried with MIDI thru chain

Is external MIDI transport (Start/Stop) supposed to work in Oram? Any workaround?
