First HAT interface for RPi5 from Pineberry

Hi everybody :slightly_smiling_face:

Is this the beginning of a new beginning?

Among the possible and various scenarios: having the ZynthianOS quickly started and the machine reliably employed as a sample player.

This looks promising too: NVMe Base for Raspberry Pi 5

Hey that one, as a pure SSD extension, looks much better => full 2280 format (cheaper) + a logical HW placement :

not with a hat just over the CPU,

:rage: :rage: :rage:

this drives me mad

What is the opposite of a hat? NVME sandal?

You can keep your HAT on.

I preordered it

Side note:
I’m currently still fighting with pachbox os to run properly on the PI5.
I already got MODUI to work with multiple neural models running in parallel and a stable 0 Xrun (128 96000, 3)
I’m now building all the plugins as patchstorage.com miss my prefered mda-epiano on aarch64.

Nice

After having a look twice at it :innocent:, I saw that this “sandal board” is designed with feets too (do you say that ??: “avec les pieds”).

The NVMe drive is in sandwich between two PCB :upside_down_face: :sob:
