Welcome to the community. You will find us a fairly friendly bunch and questions are usually answered quite quickly but, do have a read of the forum and use its search facility before posing a question that may already be answered or discussed.
Look at the wiki, particularly the user guides which are worth reading to get an idea of what zynthian is and how it works. Also look at the main zynthian website which is full of useful information, including the shop where you can buy stuff.
I don’t think we have a specific thread for new users and such a thread may quickly become out-dated. Look around and enjoy the vibes.

Welcome to the Zynth gang. You have found here a fun motley crew of music technology amateurs, of the most diverse technical and cultural backgrounds.
Although the wiki is in constant evolution, it is very informative and reflects the developmental/experimental nature of the whole project.
The dominant attitude here is generosity, and the general rule is “ask and someone with expertise will answer”.
