Help with git [solved]

Can somebody briefly help me with git, which I touched again just after some years? I like to synchronize my soundfonts in the user folder with git for easier remote editing and so on.

I just pushed my local soundfonts from my computer with git bash (mingw64) successfully, but when i wanted to push the respective files from zynthian-my-data via putty ssh, it sais:

Support for password authentication was removed on August 13, 2021.

and does not offer to 2FA with the app.

I also ask that question here because I want to know if all this authenification hassle does interfere with the git driven update process of zynthian.

Create a token

Also the update only pulls from a public repo, so it doesn’t need any authentication.
