I used Zynthian for a "normal" guitar gig

I love all of the fun electronic stuff that Zynthian can do, but I also work as a guitarist, and I wanted to see if I could use Zynthian for that. Last weekend I was asked to fill in with a band and I used Zynthian for all the guitar processing. My guitar (Variax Standard) has active electronics, so I plugged it right into my Zynthian V5. I used Neural Amp Modeler and one of the IR loaders, as well as some reverb, compression, and delay, and then right into the PA. It worked great for the full 3 hour gig and I got lots of compliments on the sounds. This can absolutely replace the guitar units from Line 6, Fractal, Kemper, or whatever. Here are some clips. The audio is just from the phone mic so maybe not the best.

Thanks for making such a versatile system and thinking about us guitarists too!

Far out!

Cool mate! Really good use of zynthian showing its versatility as a guitar effects processor. How did you get the banjo sound in the second clip? It sounds quite convincing.

Thanks! The banjo sound is actually built into the guitar. It uses individual piezo pickups in the bridge and models the guitar/banjo sounds. You can also change tunings with one of the knobs. In the first clip I have the 2 high strings shut off so they can play the synth (OB-Xd) through the Fishman midi pickup.
