Losing MIDI mapping when switching controllers.

I have two controllers that I use depending on convenience: a Novation Impulse 61 and a Behringer UMX610.

I add an instrument, any instrument, and then add a MIDI Event Tools. I map a midi control from one of the controllers to enable and disable the note filter. I save it, and it remains saved even if I restart the system.

However, when I switch controllers, the mapping is lost. It doesn’t matter which controller I map; as soon as I switch controllers, the MIDI mapping is lost.

Does anyone have an idea why this happens?

Do you have “Map by USB port” (or some similar words) enabled in webconf? This uses the device name and USB port to define each device.

Where is this option? I am having some issues with USB midi as well and I wonder if this is the problem.

Nevermind, I found it. It is in the Admin menu not webconf.
