An interesting approach (although commercial Yuk! Petuweee!) as a man in the middle to manipulate exposed automation parameters using a genetic evolutionary process.
Natural Selection P - applies this process to any external audio device or rack of devices. Up to 127 parameters that are exposed and automatable via macros in Ableton Live.
Natural Selection S - applies this process to an internal versatile poly synth + rhythm generator + effects system without any limitations!
You can also morph up to 8 presets with two XY quadrants and a blend slider between them similar to that on the ModX/Montage or Dehlia. Not sure if this is just a mix/vector blending or if the parameters are morphed directly.
This man in the middle approach could be useful in designing some plugins for LV2/Zynthian that manipulate the exposed parameters.
