Is anyone here following the new emulators for machinedrum and monomachine? Would be terrific to see those on Zynthian although they’re very resource hungry at the moment.

Mmmmm! Super-interesting … i will put an eye on this project.
This brings to my mind the “parameter lock” feature that Elektron conceived and implemented 25 years ago, when MPE only existed in the wet dreams of electronic musicians.
What brings me to the next idea … could we take profit of MPE synthesizers from the zynthian stepseq? I mean, could we implement something similar to Elektron’s “parameter blocks” for MPE synthesizers like SurgeXT? Imagine modulating notes independently on the sequence…

Very powerful and much more efficient than the emulators, especially with good midi control mapping.
Somebody has created a fork with control from a web browser, so it would be terrific for a project like Zynthian where the machines could be controlled from a tablet playing the Zynthian, without needing to interact with a gui on the Zynthian itself.
