I have a Zynaddsubfx on channel one. Then add a MIDI arpaggiator as MIDI FX.
I sometimes get the arpeggiator sound. Sometimes not.
I get the same behaviour with other MIDI FX and other synths. Any idea’s on this?
Zynthian v5. latest update
masterkeyboard connected via usb to Zynthian.
sound output to powered speakers.
Nothing fancy here.

I think I found the problem. Midi Arpeggiator always sends to midi channel 1.
Arpeggiator on channel 1 works fine.
Arpeggiator on channel 2 triggers synth on channel 1. But leaves the synth on channel 2 idle.
So i guess, some of the midi fx’s are only programmed to use on channel 1?
They should not. Some plugins have a channel selector, but most of them are channel agnostic. I can’t check now because I’m in the mountains, but I will take a look ASAP.

I can’t reproduce your issues with the arpeggiator.
Your snapshot simply works for me and the arpeggiator works in all MIDI channels.
Please, try to update your oram-bookworm image and after updating, click on the “Search for engines” button in the engines tab (webconf). Reboot and try again.

just installed the new bookworm. Did you change the password of the webconf? can’t get in.
The new password is “opensynth”.
