MIDI learn with ZYN_CC doesn't save controller assignments

In Vangelis, MIDI learning a new CC using a HID device + ZYN_CC action doesn’t seem to work correctly. I can assign a CC just fine, but all the assignments are cleared when I reboot Zynthian. I’ve saved both the ZS3 and Snapshot before the reboot. MIDI learn with a regular MIDI controller works just fine. So it seems it has something to do with the ZYN_CC.

I made an issue already.

  1. Use Webconf and UI Key binding to assign ZYN_CC for keypad keys (for example KeyA ZYN_CC 14,109,127,0)

  2. Open the Control View, activate MIDI Learn (Chain or Global)

  3. Assign the control with a HID keypad, for example mixer mute (I’ve tested this with multiple controllers - all are forgotten). Assignment is registered, and it works perfectly until reboot.

  4. Save ZS3 + Snapshot

  5. Reboot Zynthian, and the assignments are gone
