MIDI Looper plugin

Hello everyone!
I’ve created a MIDI Looper plugin for Zynthian. It’ll be useful for improvising while composing parts or performing live.
The plugin is placed in the chain before the synthesizer.
You can watch a demonstration of it in the video.

Features:

  • Synced to the zynseq transport and tempo; record/launch on beat, bar or loop boundary; free or fixed length 1 to 16 bars
  • Rec/Overdub/Play/Stop, up to 8 layers (mute, delete, undo/redo functions)
  • CC / pitch bend on a shared lane, with overwrite as you move the knob
  • Quantize (1/4 to 1/32, strength, starts/ends/both) on the layers you pick on screen
  • Half/Double loop lenth, per-layer transposition
  • 16 slots with loops on disk
  • Export to a .mid file and into a zynseq pattern
  • Touch widget: piano roll with a CC lane, layer colours, slot map

Tested on Vangelis stable 2610, Raspberry Pi 5, V5 kit.
Feedback, bug reports and ideas are welcome!

Whoaooo @dmtry3! Fantastic work! Congrats.

I will test it ASAP.

Thanks for sharing

Ohhh! I just noted that you can export to zynseq! :raising_hands: Kudos!

The export function also saves the MID to a flash

This meat. I would love to see this more integrated with the sequencer than a plugin which suits in a single chain. The looper looks like it handles several tracks / channels / chains.
