Munt - a MT32 clone in software

Years ago there was a nice small hardware from Roland called MT-32 (and later D-110 as rack version). this was a “cheap” multi-voice synth especially for getting good sounds via MIDI for a PC for games (e.g. Monkey-Island) (yes, there was a time BEFORE soundcards ). Now there is a software clone freely available (also I don’t know if there are original ROMs freely available):

Oh yeah, nostalgia trip in 3-2-1…

Bonus points for name dropping Monkey Island!
-Reminds me, I’ve forgotten to install SCUMMVM on my Zynthian. It’s kind of an obsession I guess. :yum:

Do I get a ‘One up’?

:smirk: Of course.

Eno said after working on the Windows sounds
"Then when I’d finished that and I went back to working with pieces that were like three minutes long, it seemed like oceans of time.”
