It looks like you are using USB MIDI and using it in an odd configuration. (I may be misinterpreting the picture!) Why not just use DIN-5?
I hope we hear some results soon… 
The USB midi was at hand and worked just fine
Do you think there is latency with this kind of setup ?
Sorry, another look at the picture shows just MIDI or from keyboard going to USB MIDI in. That makes sense. There is probably no substantial latency difference. I was just interested. I have done the same with some old keyboards, using USB MIDI adapters. I quite like the idea of DIN-5 still in use 40 years later!
