Running just one synth engine (a la Micro-Dexed), with an Arduino or circuit python slant, it would have enough built in resources for a few musical tasks.
I could envisage using it for FX processing, a synth or two and maybe a sequencer? Hosts USB MIDI devices too…

Looks neat and not too expensive. Not sure how much processing available from the SAM chip. You could probably squeeze some simple synth out of it (others have managed with similar chips) but porting Fluidsynth might be a challenge.
