I donāt know the acual adress to that directory, but maybe I still have a CD-ROM in the basement for 50 hours of free AOL internet that I can check for you.

That is correct. I only see two samplers SFizz or something like that and another one starting with Z, but no Linux Sampler.
In the list the first two fluid.. and the linux are missing. Do I need to do a factory reset??
Probably you disabled the Linux sampler and others while making tests. Bold push in the engine list to enable/disable. You can also do it from the webconf.
Anyway, i donāt recommend to sue Linuxsampler because it crash with some soundfonts while sfizz works with almost every soundfont.

Itās well explained in the userās guide:
You must bold-push the knob#4 in the processor list. Then you will enter āview allā mode, where you see all engines and can enable/disable. Push back to return to āview enabledā mode.

What is wrong with you guys? I own a Zynthian V5. I am struggling to figure it outā¦ all you guys do is to insult people? Is this allowed on this site? I thought personal attacks are not acceptable!! We made a mistake.
Your presentation and style has many characteristics of an AI component generating generalised enquiries with little sign of engaging with the suggestions, and there were certainly suggestions provided.
Itās an interesting insight into community in the current suspicious age, and hopefully, we all learn.
I certainly believed it to be an AI component, as I said I was wrong.
But, and this is a telling point, even after the suspicion rose you were still replied to.
Quite how you respond to this situation is really up to you.
I suspect from rereading that screen shots of your situations would be of great benefit.
So, there we are.

Music is my passion and hobby but I am a triple board-certified cardiologist who has been practicing for the last 42 years. I have an extremely busy schedule which includes, performing cardiac surgical procedures in 4 different medical centers in addition to seeing patients in my own private cardiology office. I want to get to the point where I have set up 16 tracks of instruments that I can use as a MIDI playback unit with sampled sounds (I know Zynthian was not designed for that purpose but as a powerful DAW) but I also know I CAN use it as a MIDI playback unit. My frustration is that what you want to do is simple but you donāt seem to listen to the advice. You donāt need computer knowledge (including Linux) to use zynthian. But letās try againā¦
- Go to the menu and add an instrument.
- Use knob 3 select the category of instrument.
- Use knob 4 to select the instrument.
- If the desired instrument is missing (hidden), bold press knob 4 (or select button) to show all instruments and toggle any hidden ones you want, then BACK to cancel this mode
- Fluidsynth and Sfizz are sample players which sounds like what you want.
- Select a MIDI channel, bank and preset.
- You now have the first of your desired 16 channels.
- Repeat until you have all 16.
- You will probably want to change the MIDI input to multitimbral mode.
I too have better things to do than learn how to use zynthian then teach everyone what I learnedā¦ but I choose to do this because I want to know how to do it. I wonāt bore everyone with everything I do (Iāve already done that in zynthclub ) but I did hang garage doors today and help a friend with their job interview preparation and help another friend with their MIDI controller design and plan a school reunionā¦ Boring isnāt it?

Sir, I did exactly what you asked me to do but the linux sampler option is not available. So also the B free. In the above video by Jofemodo, there are four MIDI Instrument/Samplers listed. But I only have Sfizz and ZynSampler. Can you help me how I can get the other two FluidSynth SF2, SF3 and Linux Sampler SFz, GIG to show up?? Thanks
As per jofemodo video there are four: FluidSynth SF2, SF3
Linux Sampler SF2 and GIG
SFizz SF2
ZynSampler
But I get only TWO: Sfizz and Synsampler
Finally I figured it out. I had to press BOTH knobs 3 AND 4 to bring up the options of adding or deleting various samplers. When I pressed both knobs 3 AND 4 simultaneously, all samplers showed up in the list and I selected the four I needed and now they show up. Thank you all.
One more question: There is a sound called SetB Free. Anyone knows where it is?
