I just rebooted my V5 & V3 from the admin menu and then from webconf and both worked fine. Be aware that reboot depends on the supervisor script running and detecting the exit status of the UI code. If you have started Zynthian manually from the command line it may not be in the right configuration to detect this and if Zynthian experiences an error during reboot it may give a different exit code which can block reboot. Check the logs.
After last update from 2024-03-01 oram, webconf on the address http://zynthian.local/ donāt work. On the IP address webconf is working.

@ToFF is this on wired or wifi? There was a change to wifi that may have altered behaviour but I didnāt think it would impact wired network.
I have always found mdns to be rather tempremental with poor inter-OS compatibility. I particularly find Windows to support it poorly.
Now I switch off wifi on zynthian. I like have all music equipment hard wired. Yes, Iām in Windows and have the āDNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAINā issue with http://zynthian.local/. Iāll try to restart the PC and boot into linux.
EDIT: under Linux the same issue.
just tested zynthian.local and have the same error
also it happens to me: not possible to zynthian.local and zynthian.lan for webconf
with IP is possible
It seems disabling Avahi was a bad decission. I will enable it and upload a new image ASAP.
If you manage to access by IP, you can re-enable it by running this command:
systemctl enable avahi-daemon
reboot

I released a new SD image that include all recent changes in Oram:

If you are using a recent image, you can simply update and you will get all the important stuff, except the upgraded Salamander Grand Piano SFZ and some minor system adjustments.
We are really close to have the next stable release, so please, keep sending feedback! With your help Zynthian Oram is going to be a great great release!!

Whatās the status of Pi5 with the OS? Iām waiting patiently for the v5 kit upgrade but I have all the parts lying around for a frankenzynth, if the 5 is on point yet. :>
