Pads/Patterns of different lengths

How do I set up different pattern lengths? You can set lengths both on the pad level and on the pattern level. But when I have the pad level set to 1 bar (I need that for other chains), and want a 2 bar pattern on another chain, if I set the pattern length to 2 bars (8beats), it creates a longer pattern, but it starts over, after that one bar from the pad level length settings.

What is the right process for getting different pattern lengths?

(zynthian v5, latest stable ORAM build)

Change to Vangelis, please..
No reason to keep using the old zynpad. It’s a dead end.

ooohh, i’ve just seen the Vangelis thread… looks like this answers a bunch of my questions :slight_smile: well, gotta give it a try then :slight_smile:

In this case it is definitely not worth pursuing with Oram sequencer because the solution you seek will be totally different in Vangelis.
