Dear Zynthians,
I’ve programmed 12 patterns in Zynseq, between which I have to switch frequently. Principally they are running fine and I can also switch between them. My problem is now, that they partly have different length (8 or 12 beats in pattern), i.e. 2 or 3 bars length. So to change a pattern in sync, I always have to wait, till the last bar of the particular pattern was started… and only then I can trigger the pattern change. If I would trigger the pattern change during the 2nd bar of a 3rd bar pattern, the last bar would be omitted…
My question: Is there a way or a “hidden checkbox” to assure, that a pattern is always played completely (as defined in ‘beats per pattern’) before it changes? So I could trigger a pattern change immediately after the 1st note is played… and the pattern would continue for its full length, whether if this is 2 or 3 bars.
(Background: In addition to using Zynseq, I’m playing two keyboards live. Therefore I’m very restricted in triggering the pattern changes…)
System: Oram 2506.1
Thank you in advance for your hints,
Doc MC
