Recent weird behavior with Helm presets

I have a weird issue with Helm in SubSnapShots, namely that it does not play the correct sound.
I’m not saying the issue is restricted to Helm, but it’s only happening there for me (I only have 1 active Snapshot at the moment with a dozen SubSnapShots in it)

Disclaimer: as a very fresh user, I have never saved my own presets, just made changes to existing ones and saved in SubSnapShots. I will probably start doing this now in a hope to avoid the following issue.

Last week I was working on a track idea and I used the “COA Timpani Digital Bass” preset and saved it in a new SubSnapShot.
It seems however that it somehow infected some (not all) other SubSnapShots in the SnapShot:

It always displays the timpani preset name on the Mixer screen. It plays the correct preset, however in the list of presets also wrong timpani Preset is selected.
But sometimes it’s worse, and it will actually play the wrong preset (or something that vaguely sounds like it) as well.

I just documented this scenario step by step after a fresh boot, I hope that will make the issue more clear:

  1. I load the Snapshot
  2. it defaults to SubSnapShot Z
  3. I load a affected SubSnapShot B, it plays the correct sound (but displays Timpani)
  4. I load another affected SubSnapShot A, it plays the correct sounds (wrong display)
  5. I load the SubSnapShot C which actually uses the Timpani
  6. I load the SubSnapShot B, it plays the (piano-like) sound from SubSnapShot A for some reason
  7. I keep loading different (other) SubSnapShots until it changes to another sound which isn’t the piano like sound
  8. I load SubSnapShot B again. Now it does play the correct sound again (see step 3)

Sometimes seems only a reboot can make it behave again (briefly)
I don’t know what the original presets were, I’ll try saving them as new presets.
When inspecting the Snapshot json, it does say “COA Timpani Digital Bass” for the affected SubSnapShots. But they all have different parameters.

I totally don’t understand how this situation was created. Does anyone have a clue what may have gone wrong?
I’m a bit hesitant to share my SnapShot publicly at the moment, but I can send it privately to anyone who wants to try to reproduce it.
