Recorded files (zynsampler) on USB stick not in captures list

On the most recent updated oram I recorded with zynsympler onto the USB stick. I can access those files from within zynsampler, but cannot access them in the webconf’s capture site.
The USB stick’s files are not available there.
Is it by purpose or an issue?

It’s not currently implemented. Currently only internal captures can be managed from webconf.
I think there is an open request for this feature.
Perhaps @mheidt want to step forward with this :innocent:

Regards

Remember that you can remove the memory stick and move it.

That’s absolutely right, but the workflow is uncomfortable if you are using a desktop DAW for the final cut.
Especially if you are recording multitrack audio. IMO the USB stick/mem is just another audio/midi memory “inside” zynthian and thus should be available from the captures webconf site - it’d be more stringent then for the regular user.
ATM I rsync the USB media via ssh to a local directory on the desktop. But that’s nerdy, isn’t it.

I don’t understand what you’re saying - could you put it another way?

We all love a nerd! Yes, we should add webconf access, but not before Oram release.

I mean, if as a regular user you are recording audio, you would expect it to appear under captures, but atm it’s there, if you are recording to SD card, which vice versa is not a good idea as written in the tutorial.

Is there a jira task for it already?
