Recording Audio in ZynPad

Hi everyone, I’m still on the learning curve with Zynthian (Vangelis).
I’m trying to record an audio part inside a ZynPad chain, but maybe I’m missing something.
I figured out how to insert drum loops and instrument loops, but when I try to use the audio from a chain (I have a Rhodes in one chain), it appears greyed out with a “?” mark.

Is there a specific way to record or route an audio chain into a ZynPad sequence?
Am I supposed to record it as an audio loop first, or is there a way to capture the chain output directly inside the sequence?

We do not currently have an integrated workflow for recording audio into the clip launchers. You have to make a separate recording, e.g. using the built-in audio recorder then edit it to the desired loop and manually add to clip launcher.
