It was recommended to me here in the forum. but if you have a usb sound card, you can try selecting Generic USB as the sound card in WebConf. With this selection, two sound cards worked for me.
and what fancy code do I type in?
We donāt know. For the Turtle try āGeneric usbā first. If that doesnāt work weāll start asking you to type in stuff on the CLI using instructions from: Configuring Audio Devices - ZynthianWiki like we do with everyone else who does a build-our-own.
Or you could use webconf to go to HARDWARE->Audio and try selecting the card from the āSoundcard Devicesā drop-down list if it is detected. This may populate the jackd options correctly, or at least close to correct. It would be supper to hear if this works as it is a fairly new feature that no one has yet reported using / benefiting from.
By selecting āGeneric USBā on WebConf, the Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 card is seen perfectly and works first time.
I used generic USB and everything works fine, only thing is I need an amplifier to work. Currently Iām feeding it into my other computers soundcard input that usually has my Korg Radias plugged in or mic.
